1. Introduction
VideoNest provides video hosting, audience growth tools, and content monetization as a service, allowing users to manage, distribute, and earn from their video libraries. This Monetization Policy applies to users who opt into the service and maintain an active Starter or Business plan. Below we outline the standard terms of monetizing content through VideoNest under a revenue share agreement in exchange for the non-exclusive right to distribute and monetize your name, likeness and content.
By using VideoNest's monetization services, you agree to abide by this policy, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Note: Enterprise and custom plan users may be subject to a separate agreement. If you’re unsure which plan applies to your account please contact us.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for monetization on VideoNest, users must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Comply with all VideoNest Content Guidelines
- Agree to the VideoNest Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Submit all required tax and identification documentation
- Meet any additional eligibility criteria as determined by VideoNest
VideoNest reserves the right to suspend or remove users from the monetization program at its sole discretion.
3. Revenue Sharing
VideoNest operates under a transparent revenue share model:
- 55% of monetization revenue is paid to the IP owner
- 45% is retained by VideoNest to cover:
- Ongoing video hosting, delivery and distribution feeds.
- Access to VideoNest’s ad network, including 10,000+ third-party, ad-supported websites & content platforms.
Revenue may be generated directly through VideoNest or via its network of third-party content platforms and distribution partners. Final earnings may vary based on content category, audience engagement, regional CPMs, and partner-specific policies.
4. Payment Process
- Payment Schedule: Paid monthly, 15 days after month-end
- Reporting: Final earnings are emailed 7 days after month-end
- Estimates: Dashboard shows estimated earnings; final numbers are confirmed via email
Requirements
To receive payment, users must:
- Submit a valid W-9 (U.S.) or W-8BEN (non-U.S.)
- Provide government-issued ID
- Complete any other required legal or tax documents
Additional Notes
- Minimum Payout: $100; unpaid balances roll over
- Currency: Payments made in USD; conversion applies if receiving internationally
- Fees: Users are responsible for any applicable payment method or processing fees
5. Content Guidelines
To be eligible for monetization, content must:
- Be original, owned by the user, or properly licensed
- Not include explicit, hateful, violent, harassing, or misleading content
- Not violate intellectual property laws or feature copyrighted material without authorization
- Comply with FTC disclosure guidelines for sponsored content or product placements
VideoNest reserves the right to demonetize or remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeated violations may lead to account removal from the monetization program.
6. License Grant
By uploading content to VideoNest, you grant VideoNest LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your name, likeness, trademarks, logos, and biographical materials for:
- Hosting, storing, streaming, promoting, distributing, and monetizing your content on VideoNest's platform and its affiliated 3rd party distribution channels.
- Adapt content only as needed for:
- Formatting (e.g., compression or resizing for various devices)
- Compatibility with playback systems
- Adjustments to metadata, thumbnails, or visual formatting for technical display.
This license does not authorize VideoNest to change your creative message, branding, or core content.
7. Termination of Monetization
Either party may terminate monetization participation at any time. VideoNest reserves the right to terminate or suspend monetization access if:
- The user violates the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or this Monetization Policy
- Fraudulent activity is detected (e.g., artificial view inflation, bot usage)
- Content is found to be illegal, harmful, or in breach of copyright law
After Termination
- Monetized content will be removed within 30 business days
- Monetization and distribution cease immediately
- No future earnings will be paid on removed content

8. DMCA & Copyright Complaints
VideoNest complies fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyright is being infringed on the platform, submit a takedown request to: services at videonest.co
Include:
- Your legal name and signature
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Specific URL of the infringing content
- Statement of good faith belief
- Statement that the information is accurate and you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder
Important Notes:
- Content under DMCA review may be demonetized and may not earn revenue during the dispute process
- Repeat violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal
- If you believe a takedown request was submitted in error, you may issue a counter-notice, which will be reviewed in accordance with DMCA guidelines
9. Referral & Affiliate Programs
VideoNest offers a referral program for users who wish to promote the platform.
- Participation is governed by a separate agreement
- Terms include commission rates, promotional policies, and payout rules

10. Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising under this policy will be resolved via binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we’ll notify you via:
- Email to your account
- Notifications in the VideoNest dashboard
Continued use of the monetization services after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
