What is VideoNest?
VideoNest is a powerful video hosting, streaming, and monetization platform for content creators, media companies, and businesses. It helps you upload, manage, distribute, and monetize your video content with ease.
How do I sign up for VideoNest?
You can join VideoNest for free using your email or Google account. Once registered, you can upload videos directly or sync them via platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or your social account.
Who is VideoNest for?
Whether you're a professional YouTuber, media company, business, or brand, VideoNest is designed for anyone who wants to host & stream videos on their own branded website, monetize through ads, partnerships, or distribute video content across the web
Is VideoNest really free?
Yes! The Free Plan allows you to upload and host up to 25 videos with no file size, length, or bandwidth limits. Our Starter and Business plans come with a cost, see VideoNest Plans & Pricing.
How do I choose the right plan for me?
We offer four plans: Free, Creator, Business, and Enterprise. If you're just getting started, the Free Plan is perfect for testing the platform. The Creator plan unlocks monetization tools and email marketing integrations. The Business plan is ideal for high-volume publishing, toggling ads on and off and unlocking the Media RSS feeds for 3rd party syndication. Enterprise plans are built for large-scale video operations.
How is VideoNest different from Vimeo or Linktree?
VideoNest vs. Vimeo: We don’t charge expensive fees just to host your videos. Plus, we help you monetize and grow.

VideoNest vs. Linktree: Instead of just listing links, VideoNest builds a video-first, monetizable site that works like your own video website.
How many videos can I host on the Free, Starter, and Business plans?
Free Plan: Up to 25 uploaded videos. Starter Plan: Up to 250 uploaded videos. Business Plan: Up to 1,000 uploaded videos. For larger libraries, custom Enterprise plans are available.
Do I need technical experience to use VideoNest?
Not at all. If you can create a video, you can use VideoNest. We handle video encoding, SEO, ads, and email notifications—all behind the scenes.

Uploading & Managing Content FAQs

What video formats are supported?
VideoNest supports all major video file types, including MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM. For best results, we recommend uploading MP4 files encoded with H.264 video and AAC audio
Is there a maximum file size or resolution?
No. All plans—including the Free Plan—support unlimited file sizes and resolutions, including 4K and HD. You can upload long-form videos, trailers, or short clips without compression or length limits.
Will my videos lose quality after uploading?
No. We maintain the highest playback quality possible. VideoNest uses adaptive streaming to ensure your audience gets the best experience based on their internet connection — without sacrificing original video quality during hosting.
Can I bulk upload multiple videos at once?
Yes. You can upload multiple files at once directly from your desktop, or sync an entire video library using Google Drive, Dropbox, API, or our social integrations.
How do I organize or tag my video library?
While uploading a video, you can add custom tags or pin content to your homepage. This can also be done after a video has been uploaded in the Media > Library tab of the user panel.
Can I update a video after it’s published?
Yes. You can edit your video’s title, description, thumbnail, tags, and links at any time.
Can I delete videos or remove them from public view?
Yes. You can delete any video at any time from navigating to the video from the Media > Library tab and below the video you can find 'Delete Video' button. Deleted videos are removed from your site and storage immediately.
Will my videos appear in search engines and AI searches (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc)?
Yes. Videos published to your VideoNest website are SEO-optimized with titles, descriptions, and structured data, making them discoverable on search platforms like Google and Artificial Intelligence platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity & more.

Building an Audience

How does VideoNest help me grow my audience outside of social media?
VideoNest gives you tools that go beyond rented audiences on algorithmic-based social networks. With a custom video website, built-in email collection, and automated notifications, you create a direct, owned relationship with your viewers. This ensures you can reach your audience even if algorithms change or platforms deprioritize your content.
Can I collect email addresses from video viewers?
Yes. Every VideoNest site includes built-in email capture. When viewers visit your video page, they can subscribe directly with their email address. These emails are stored in your dashboard and can be exported or synced to tools like Mailchimp, Beehiiv, or HubSpot.
Are subscribers automatically notified when I post a new video?
Yes, by default. When someone subscribes to your VideoNest site, they’ll automatically receive an email notification every time you publish a new video. No extra steps required — the notification system runs in the background and keeps your audience engaged.
Can I export my email list from VideoNest?
Yes, on Starter, Business and Enterprise plans. You can export as CSV file of all collected email addresses from your VideoNest dashboard at any time. Navigate to the Subscribers page in your dashboard and in the top right click 'Export.' Exported lists are compatible with all major email providers for newsletters or CRM integration.
Can I add external links to my website?
Yes. You can add external featured links (e.g., to your merch store, social media accounts, brand sponsorship deal links, affiliate page, or newsletters) to your video website. In your user dashboard, navigate to Website > Links to update. These links will appear on your homepage.
How do I drive traffic from social networks to my VideoNest site?
We recommend linking to your VideoNest site in your social media description bio, pinned comments, video descriptions, and end screens. You can also mention it in your videos (i.e. "Check out my content & subscribe with your email to never miss another video at UserName.com or Username.VideoNest.co")

Monetize Video Library — FAQs and Answers

How does the VideoNest monetization program work?
The VideoNest Monetization program allows approved creators to earn revenue from ads that appear before, during, or after their videos. Once you're accepted into the program (starting at the Starter Plan), VideoNest handles the ad network integration and revenue distribution for you.
When am I eligible to apply for monetization?
You can apply for monetization once you’ve upgraded to the Starter Plan. Our team will review your content to ensure it meets quality and compliance standards. If approved, you’ll be onboarded into our monetization network, which includes ad-supported video hosting and third-party distribution.
What is the revenue share model for ads?
By default, VideoNest uses a creator-first revenue split. The standard split begins at 55% to the IP owner. Enterprise and Business users may be eligible for custom terms or to run their own ad deals.
Can I run my own brand deals or ads?
Yes. Enterprise users can run custom advertising campaigns using our Bring Your Own Ads program. If you’ve sold branded content or sponsorships on social media accounts, you can extend those deals to your VideoNest site — with control over where those ads appear.
How do I get paid from VideoNest?
Once you're approved and begin generating revenue, payouts are made on a regular basis, typically monthly. You’ll receive detailed reports on your ad earnings, and payments are issued via your selected method (e.g., ACH, PayPal, or direct deposit).
Do I need to set up an ad account or network integration?
No setup is required. VideoNest handles all ad inventory management, network partnerships, and technical infrastructure. Once your account is approved, monetization is turnkey — allowing you to focus on content creation while we handle the ad operations.
